Terms of Service
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, Stitch Letter, and any services booked through it, including but not limited to live chainstitch embroidery, heat pressing, and laser engraving at events.
By using this Website or booking our services, you agree to accept all terms and conditions written here. You must not use this Website or our services if you disagree with any of these Terms.
2. Services
Stitch Letter provides on-site, live personalization services for events including brand activations, corporate events, festivals, retail pop-ups, private parties, and similar gatherings. Our services include:
- Chainstitch Embroidery — hand-guided freehand embroidery on textiles
- Heat Pressing — DTF transfers and patch application on apparel and accessories
- Laser Engraving — permanent engraving on hard goods such as tumblers, glassware, leather, wood, and metal
All services are performed on-site at the client’s designated event location within our service areas.
3. Booking and Payment
- All bookings are subject to availability and must be confirmed in writing or through our booking system.
- A deposit may be required to secure your event date. Deposit amounts and payment schedules will be outlined in your event agreement.
- Final payment is due on or before the event date unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
- Pricing is based on event duration, number of stations, materials, and travel requirements.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event date may be eligible for a deposit refund, less any costs already incurred.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of the event date are non-refundable.
- Rescheduling requests are accommodated based on availability and must be made at least 7 days before the original event date.
- Stitch Letter reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to circumstances beyond our control (weather, venue closures, equipment failure, etc.).
5. Event Responsibilities
- The client is responsible for providing a suitable workspace at the event venue, including adequate table space, access to standard electrical outlets (110V/15A), and reasonable environmental conditions.
- Stitch Letter will arrive with all necessary equipment, materials, and supplies as outlined in the event agreement.
- The client is responsible for communicating any venue-specific requirements, load-in/load-out procedures, and insurance or safety requirements in advance.
6. Intellectual Property
- All designs, brand marks, and artwork provided by the client remain the property of the client.
- Stitch Letter retains the right to photograph completed work and event setups for use in our portfolio, website, and social media unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
- Content on this Website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Stitch Letter and may not be reproduced without permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
- Personalization services involve permanent alteration of items. Stitch Letter is not liable for damage to items that are inherently unsuitable for the chosen personalization method.
- Stitch Letter is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or this Website.
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stitch Letter, its owners, operators, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of our services.
9. Service Areas
Stitch Letter currently serves events in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Sacramento, Palm Springs, Las Vegas, Arizona, and New York. Travel to locations outside these areas may be available upon request and may incur additional fees.
10. No Warranties
Services and this Website are provided “as is.” Stitch Letter makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the outcome of personalization services beyond reasonable professional standards.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid under applicable law, such provision shall be modified or deleted without affecting the remaining provisions.
12. Changes to Terms
Stitch Letter reserves the right to revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of this Website or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of California.
